Blue Sky Farm

My blogging posts and photos are part of me . I think of this as a scrapbook of my life. The names have not been changed.. they are real people who have crossed my path along my journey. Some I know intimately, my family and friends. If their names are mentioned it's a sure sign they are special to me and I love them dearly...come along see for yourself, perhaps you know some of them too..

Okay Enough! This was the weather report this morning when I woke...
*A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW, that  MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOWCOVERED ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES.
I awoke to Ugly at 4:30 this morning..  crawled back to bed,  pulled the covers over my head and thought  for crying  out loud..I know how badly I felt yesterday... and hoped for a change... This was Not what I had hoped for....Enough Enough Enough...Fortunately it is supposed to decrease to rain and wind gusts will drop to 15-25 instead of 40 mph . According to our faithful weather report. Canceled the trip to Medford for Dr appointment as its 70 miles there and over a snowy pass. Thank you for all  my readers nice supporting comments left on yesterday blog entry...I do have a bit clearer outlook today even if I am snowbound again so today with a vision of me baking those chocolate chip cookies,  I will sip yet another cup of coffee and plan my day accordingly... maybe just read some of my friends blogs and work on my gratefulness journal...

Oh mine, Oh mine, tell that snow to go away!! We do have brighter sky here today, soooooooo I am sending them your way along with bright cheery wishes!!! If I was closer I would rush over for chocolate chip cookies and a cup of coffee, yep I would! Isn't blog reading fun, one problem I get so caught up some days I get nothing done. But that is okay once in a while. So here's to more cheerful days ahead! rah-rah-sis-boom-bah!

oh yuk... I'm sure it could happen here too, but I think I would just sit down and cry if it snowed here during this time. I have my garden planted (finished yesterday) and the flowers, etc. are looking so pretty! try to enjoy (?) sunshine is just around the corner!

Yup, that's about what I saw this morning when I got up! It is a heavy wet snow and is running off the roof. Looking forward to Friday - 67 degrees and sunny.

Oh Cheryl, I'm so sorry that you're snowbound! I am feeling VERY fortunate as I look at your photos. We're enjoying an upper 60's week. That's very optimistic of you to decide to enjoy cookies, coffee and blogs. I love your blog and enjoy reading it.

Snow yikes, we live in high elevation, so we have not yet gotten our garden in. I hope we can talk more I want to hear about your farm girl group. What kind of activities you all do. Florence
