Yes, I am packed and ready to go to Denver on Friday. I will be spending 10 days with my little grandson
Charlie. He's 2 1/2 now and Its been too long since I have held him on my lap, read him stories and played at the park with him. I will be babysitting him while his Daddy works and his Mommy goes to a retreat.
I have not seen him since last summer. I know he has grown and will probably do the shy kid bit for a few minutes. Hopefully this will be my opportunity to have him get to know me again and then when he comes to my house in a few weeks he will remember me.. If you remember Charlie was born on my birthday and I was there when he was born. He is my last grandchild and 5th Grandson.Are you a grandma? Do you get to see your grandkids often? I wish I saw all 6 of mine more often.. I cannot image not having some time with them. They grow up so fast and get on with their own lives much too quickly. I want to keep close ties to them as I do my children.. It is hard to do sometimes but having Family is one of my cherished treasures.
