Blue Sky Farm

My blogging posts and photos are part of me . I think of this as a scrapbook of my life. The names have not been changed.. they are real people who have crossed my path along my journey. Some I know intimately, my family and friends. If their names are mentioned it's a sure sign they are special to me and I love them dearly...come along see for yourself, perhaps you know some of them too..

Here it comes

I was sure it was coming see.. Taken this morning out the front window
It has rained since it first snowed melted what was here and then it snowed a bit more.. right now the sky is really dark with more snow clouds. Probably wont start snowing again for a few hours but it is really cold outside and windy.. I am glad its warm inside and the "girls" have been inside their coop all day..I gave them some warm noodles & rice..and that should warm them a bit..It would me..and it is getting close to dinner time. I have left over beef stew to heat up..so I better get on with that...

It's wet and slushy up here in Keno. It is coming down right now, and has for about 4 hours. The ground is wet so nothing is sticking real well.
My girls are as comfortable as I could make them considering the makeshift shelter they have. I have a new coop that is almost done - it will be put together as soon as we have a clear day.

Oh no the snow is coming. I do like it as long as I don't have to drive. Enjoy the view. Farm Girl Florence

It was so gray and cold today here. Of course rain!!!! Did I mention rain. These are days I am thankful I have an inside job. I'm warming up squash caserole for my dinner. Yep, I know it's 9pm. Just one of those evenings. Stay warm and snuggled in!

Staying inside and having beef stew is up my alley. I have enjoyed making the 'wintry' meals myself.
